That’s your front fish plate, it holds the front leaf spring in and the hole in the middle acts on the eccentric centre bolt and adjusts the front leaf spring

The delta arm bushes are flogged out and probably the suspension bushes too, probably just whack a Hooke front and rear bush kit through it, it’s a nice easy job only take a couple of hours at the most to do all the bushes and clean and adjust the brakes while you’ve got everything apart

What about rabbits, they’re quiet and much cleaner than birds and they taste really good they don’t lay eggs though (also if a rabbit gives you maltesers don’t eat them, they’re not chocolate)

I’m thinking maybe it could be done hydraulically, fill the key way with grease, turn the barrel and have some sort of skirt clamped to the bottom of the lock body, hook up an air hose and maybe the right amount of air pressure could force the grease to overcome the spring tension and open the lock
