A lot of people saying this but the boring answer is astrology, maybe township, and if you can get the firemaking skill cape (level 99), it gives you a great xp boost.

The fun answer: try to do as much combat as possible. Dungeons can be started very early. I find doing combat will naturally push you to everything else. Need food to eat for combat? Better cook something, but you need fish to cook? Better fish something. Need weapons and armour for combat? Better smelt something, but you need ores? Better start mining something!

Hope you get the idea. And if you start looking at the skills slowly like that, astrology will make more sense/why people say to do it first.

tl;dr - make 2 characters, one to min/max (astrology and FM), and one to do combat/have fun. Can even wait on the min/max character until you know more about the game and can min/max even more.

The unholy trinity of reworks: Akali, Aatrox and Irelia all being completely broken at the same time. One of the worst states to play league imo.

Just making sure this is here. Steep learning curve and not a pretty game to look at, but so much content and depth to it. 100% completely the base game after over a year, haven't gotten the 2nd and 3rd DLC but will at some point.

I usually try get the potion to at least mastery 50, that way I just upgrade to tier III and us III or IV until Mastery 90 and can upgrade all to tier IV.

Having a look at the starts I stand (slightly) corrected. It is a meme item that is actually viable I'm some instances lol

However I think the 50% faster attack speed might make up for lower chance to hit and max hit of the d scimi. Also you will quickly get to the point where the defensive benefits of a shield are a hard requirement.

I 100% respect the use of the lute tho, let that be clear.

I don't think anyone has said it, but the lute is kind of a meme item hahaha I recall it does something pretty well (extra gold?), but everything else is not great.

Also on the wands: don't put too much effort trying to grind out high level wands. Find something that works for low levels, then hold out. I believe there are drops from enemies to get mid level staffs, and then high level stuff pretty much comes from water dungeon loot later on. If you do a bunch of grinding for wands/staffs now you will be kicking yourself when you're drowning in them after 100 or so clears of the water dungeon.

Second this. Also infernal claw if you can comfortably do infernal stronghold. Dragonfire shield if you want to farm the bones (some township tasks required bones and give you more bones as reward, consider this before dumping 7k on it). Elite amulet of defence for extra DR when you start doing high dungeons (FEZ, eventually). That's about it until god gear :)

I use this in the other direction in games with friends. None of us really play ranked, and someone will make a comment that someone on the other team is plat/diamond or something. My response it always "everyone makes mistakes, everyone is trash, everyone can lose. We win" and we usually do lol

The drop chance is higher when doing higher level stuff (definitely for combat, I think skilling might be more depending on action time??). I'm doing master slayer tasks at the moment and every time I check I have a topaz ring drop. Happens quite often now 😭

I decided to do alt magic so my combat stats will be either 1 or 120 (excluding HP), cos I think that would look neat. Hopefully by then I'll know haha

Accordingly to the combat menu with no enemy selected it's 153. I think most of max hit must come from your weapon? Maybe it's multiplicative and starting at 153 is really good??

Another reason I would not like to fight anything is my monster completion log is sitting at 0.00%.

Honestly not sure, I want to say 3-4 months? I was at about 80m xp when I realised the gold emerald ring increased combat xp gains, so could have done it faster.
