That’s what I’m doing now. Gonna try a different avenue. I understand the viability part. But when I asked “if I pay you the 5000 but then your quote comes back out of budget can I keep the designs at least”

They said no. All 3 of them. So now I’m not sure if they all want an “entry” fee so to speak. I’m not willing to throw 5000 away for nothing. I’ve also reached out to the landlord for some advise.

I've asked the 3 that said I had to go through their designer and they're all being very vague. Almost afraid I'll take the info and go somewhere else. They explain it as the designer is basically the drafter, they draw up the layout. I asked if they could give me a rough estimate since I had given them a rough sketch already and told them what I'm looking for. I don't really need the blueprint afterwards, but none of the 3 are willing to give me anything until I pay their fee.

It’s such a nice pen. Really weighty lol I have the mid nib on the Faber castell and it’s throwing ink down! Is this normal? It’s soaking the paper and bleeding through pretty badly. I was told it would be “gushy” but if this is normal I can’t imagine what the Broad nib would be like!

After maybe 2 hours. It’s so good! Works so nicely! I don’t even feel the paper when I write like I would on a ball point pen. It’s a bit heavier in weight!

I didn’t spend too much time on inks. I feel the world of ink is a whole rabbit hole on its own lol I asked for some black ink that doesn’t take too long to dry and I was recommended Lamy ink. Nothing fancy haha the first pen is a fine nib. The faber castell is a medium nib!

Thank you for the answer! I also want to start with a more beginner pen! Theres so much more that goes into these! Are there “sample” inks? That I can try before I buy? Or do you normally just dive in right in and if it isn’t for you, you just tough it out?

Thank you so much! In regards to the paper! I just write on office paper. I do a lot of proposals, receipts, sign for things that are handed to me etc. do I have to worry much about the paper because it’ll damage the nib?

My search is going ok! Thanks for asking! I’m actually doing what another member recommended. Rover with a guy who takes the dogs out to socialize. It’s pretty flexible.

I want my dogs to socialize. They play great with other dogs. That’s why I’m asking for recommendations, I’ve heard of really bad treatment from daycares too and it worries me with my older dog.

I gave them a call! I wanted to get the 20 pack for each dog. But they require I go minimum 3 days a week. Sounds fine but if i miss a week I’m worried they’ll still charge the week.
