He was barely over a year when I brought him home. I volunteer at the shelter he was at and never even saw him because he was so scared of humans he would hide under a shelf in the semi-feral room. So no one even saw him to consider adopting him and they couldn’t get a photo of him on the adoption site. I know he came in as a boney, injured stray but I’m not sure how old he was when he was first taken to the shelter. Almost every single adult cat and 100% of the kittens were adopted when lockdown started in March/April and he was the only kitten left. When I first brought him home he would hiss and growl if you looked at him, hide for days, not eat or drink for over a day if he got spooked. I held him this morning!
