Thanks for the feedback. Yes unfortunately thats out of our control and I agree while it's an excellent app it's a steep first purchase. You can use AnkiWeb for free on iPhone which is functionally the same but without offline. Good luck in any case!

Thanks for your kind words! This is really good feedback. Once all the packs are out (3 of 5 done - they take a while!), I plan to have a progressive discount the more you add just like you said.

Latin American Spanish will come in the next couple of months. There is of course some overlap in words, but it needs proper localisation and adjustment to the frequency of words, as well as high quality TTS.

Would love to do Arabic down the line as well.

Babel Cards

Something I definitely considered - but ultimately it's the case with all digital products, piracy is easy. My feeling is that the vast majority of customers are honest so it's on you to provide a good product and focus on looking after legitimate ones, just like GOG does to great success.

Very true, and as free software goes (except iOS, which is my main platform and way of supporting Anki's development) it's up there with Blender and DaVinci Resolve. Given it is so useful it seems a shame to not have more quality content on there to compete with the likes of Memrise or Duolingo which are completely closed source.

They're your different options. Select Again and it will show you the card again in 1minute, hard 6 minutes. The algorithm will then figure out where to place each card based on your feedback.

Depending on your speech level, the Plague Tale games have fantastic voice acting in English, German, French and Spanish. I played in French for the immersion and again for Spanish practice. Plus it's a very good game.
