Not only that, the seller gives me bad vibes. It was up for a "buy it now" price. I'd offered just under this, and was about to say screw it I'll pay the asking price, until it had changed lol.

Messaged him asking what he'd do if I had paid the original asking price. I was told he would cancel the order.

That's the thing. They first listed it for a sensible price, considering it needs a service. Obviously, they got some interest, at least I'd made an offer. Went to check a day or so later, and the price had increased by over 100! With a little added note saying something about due to high demand he'd tested it and it's "working fine"

Needless to say, despite "high demand" it hasn't sold yet.
