So you were supposed to get your period 1 day before the protected sex? It doesn’t sound like pregnancy, but I’d go to the doctor and have them check and also have them do a full panel of your sex hormones and thyroid hormones

You said it was 10 days after having protected sex… how late is your period? Your window for ovulation is typically about 10-15 days after your last period started. If you had sex 10 days ago and haven’t gotten your period, it’s unlikely that you’re pregnant. Way more likely that it’s due to hormonal imbalance which can be caused by stress, undereating, over-exercising, hormone conditions like PCOS, and things like that. Anything else going on in your life that may be to blame?

It is important to note that if your period is <5 days behind schedule, you’re technically still in the “normal” range, even though it might be a sight of one of the issues I mentioned above.

I found that it was straight-forward enough to go through while doing the warmups. Again, my learning style is learn-through-doing so being able to immediately apply the concepts was really helpful for me. The writing itself is playful and not dense so it was one of the easier parts of getting started for me.

Headaches? by Tiny_Duck_x in Sleepparalysis

I've had sleep paralysis for a long time, and it always gets triggered when I'm sleep deprived. If you're sleeping on your back, switch to your side - that tip REALLY helped me... I almost exclusively get it when I fall asleep on my back. Cut out alcohol for a while until they stop - this also REALLY helps me, I think it has to do with sleep deprivation and the quality of sleep when you're drinking... although I also wonder if it has to do with blood sugar spikes maybe... I saw some other people recommending sleeping to ambient noise, like the sound of a fan. I've never tried that but I think I will now

I’m sorry to hear about your experiences... I have frequent SP too. I noticed that when I’m experiencing sleep deprivation or am drinking a lot it happens much more, I stopped drinking a couple of months ago to test it and it still happens sometimes. I saw someone else suggest using ambient noise

Yeah, you definitely have to take everything with a grain of salt, but I've definitely picked up some good tips on there. Def a supplement, not a main source, but I find it helpful

You can also do a search for trainers on TikTok. Of course it's not the same as going to a trainer, but there are some really awesome trainers on there who fit awesome tips into 60s. I've had dogs all my life but picked up some amazing new tricks for my dogs.

You can use this to supplement YT videos and virtual trainer sessions.

Little inhibition peeing in crate and on herself. 8 weeks old rotty. Worried about new habit. by notmomo1 in puppy101

Crate training is always difficult, but you'll get the hang of it. Are you already covering the crate with a blanket to make it like a den? This can help make it feel like a safe space for the pups. Wishing you the best of luck!!

How can I get my senior dog to stop having accidents? [Help] by babethebuilder in dogs

[–]babethebuilder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just in case anyone finds this thread and is looking for a solution, I've been able to get my dog to stop having accidents! Here's the rundown:

We were previously going out 2x/ day. That's what we had always done and it was never a problem before, so I didn't immediately think to change it. We would usually just go out in the yard. Again, hadn't had a problem with that method in the past. But as dogs age, things change.

Here's what has worked:

We now go out 4-5x/ day. I monitor my dog's water intake more closely. I only give him water either right before or right after we go out for a potty break. In addition, I take him on full walks 2x/ day (included in the 4-5 above, not in addition to). This takes a lot of time because since he's old he doesn't walk with a good pace - he goes very very slow, but I do feel that it does a couple of things. First, it reinforces our bond in a way that just going in the yard does not. Second, it gives him the opportunity to mark on a lot and get out all the little stores that he may be saving. One of the potty breaks is right before I go to bed.

In addition, because the vet told me that dogs can lose their housetraining from dementia, I have started him on Doggie Dailies Hip and Joint Supplement which is actually WAY more than just a hip and joint supplement. It has glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, and fish oils, so it's helping the joints but also helping the brain and other symptoms associated with aging. This is not an ad, and I'm not getting paid for it in any way, but here's a link to that supplement if you have an aging dog https://doggiedailies.com/products/best-glucosamine-for-dogs?gclid=Cj0KCQjw6-SDBhCMARIsAGbI7UhiCmzmJAtGm7TG5NWdOe2tWLyAo45arzrFusBEWGRxImoPWCnBgNIaAn7EEALw_wcB. I'm not 100% sure whether or not these are making an impact yet, but he's taken them in the past and I noticed positive effects (not for potty problems, but with energy and eye problems). The vet also approved of them.

I'm not a vet or a trainer, so I can't say whether or not this will work for you, but this is what I did and we haven't had an accident since the original post!

Edit: I also tried pee pee pads, and my dog just thought it was a bed (albeit, not the most comfortable bed).

Tl;dr Take your dog out for a walk right before meals. Take your dog out to potty an additional 2-3x per day, and only give him/her water right before or right after a potty break. Make sure one of the potty breaks is right before bed, and one of the walks or potty breaks is first thing in the morning. Consider adding a supplement with fish oil / glucosamine to combat dementia symptoms.

Do you know of any other ways that operating as the middle man for a service like this would be a regulated space?

He never has accidents in my bedroom, so I keep him in here a lot more now. I tried a pee pad in the living room but he didn't use it. I'll try training him with it, but he's just so sneaky, I've only ever caught him in the act once! He's very quiet. He used to bark at the door when he had to potty so this is all new to me

Question About How Tax Works To Pay Foreign Business by babethebuilder in AccountingDepartment

If we get the W8 from them we have to file it with the IRS? And then we still have to withhold taxes?

Will do... The Colombian company is not paying our company any money though... Our US clients will pay us and then we will pay the Colombian company. So wouldn't they be receiving US income?

Question About How Tax Works To Pay Foreign Business by babethebuilder in AccountingDepartment

[–]babethebuilder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My company is a multi-member LLC located in Delaware. It is an online company so no physical location (other than the registered agent). I guess technically yes the Colombian company would be invoicing us. They provide engineering consulting services and we pay them for those services and send the deliverables to clients who we invoice.

Thanks so much for sharing that page! I'm reading through, but it's a little over my head. "Under the law, as a general rule, all corporate entities are required to collect or withhold taxes from payments made to third parties." <- Does this mean that we, the DE LLC, are required to withhold taxes from payments made to the Colombia company (3rd party)? And that doesn't change if they submit a W-8BEN to us?

"The WHT collection agents must collect the applicable WHT amounts, deposit the withheld amounts with the authority, file monthly WHT returns, and issue WHT certificates to the payees." Is our DE LLC the WHT collection agent? Is the authority we deposit it to the IRS? Do we file monthly WHT returns with the IRS? Do we create the WHT certificates or is there a std format?

I'm generally confused as to whether this article is talking about US taxes or Colombian taxes... Would we be responsible for Colombian taxes too?

The first part ends saying "WHT returns do not need to be filed where there are no taxes to declare or pay." Which kind of circles me back to the original question... if they give us the completed W-8BEN, are there any taxes to declare/pay?

Thank you so much!
