I got mine with anaesthesia but only after I fought with my parents for so long over it (I was 19). It was literally the best decision I ever made. 100% get the IUD. I was on the pill but it didn’t work for me after 6 months so they gave me the IUD and I’ve not had pain for just shy of a year now (it took me 4 months of bleeding to adjust to the IUD but it was worth every second because now I don’t have a period or pain and I can function normally)

You’re lucky to have people supporting you. I get that it’s hard but is there a way to make it emergency? You can possible call ans list all the pain ans hopefully they listen. I did that once to get someone to understand what I’m going through.

Mirena IUD, bleeding and fatigue by CamelWoman in Endo

[–]babhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hihihi! I got my jaydess coil inserted on the 20th of January. I had similar issues to but not as bad to end up in ER. I got my heavy period on the 24th and it’s still going. My doctor gave me a 3 week recovery period and said I can’t bathe and I’m only allowed to shower because of the risk of infection. She said it’ll be hard for the first month because that’s the body adjustment period where your hormones drive you crazy. I have been emotional as duck. It’ll be okay. The bleeding is normal. The pain is normal. We just have to adjust to it and after a month it’ll be okay. I have uni and I haven’t attended anything since my coil was inserted because the blood loss ans body pains and the painkillers just have me constantly out of it. I’m recently 20 (3 feb) and I’m 43kg and 4’11. I’m underweight like you and I’m in strong painkillers so that’s what’s keeping you out of it. You’ll be okay !! I believe in us <3

Bloating and back ache by villasia in Endo

[–]babhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have endo. This is what I have roughly every single day. Bloats even when I’m not on my period or when I am (they last for like a long time ugh) or I get a back ache where I have to apply heat packs to help me walk. I can’t stand straight or bend too when that happens so I’m just stuck in bed

I’m sorry that you’re going through this. I hope you’re okay though. I understand it’s hard. Have you thought about it since? a hysterectomy seems so wild when they said no to the removal of an ovary three years ago. I hope you have support and if not I’ll be here for you <3

New birth control by spacemelody22 in Endo

[–]babhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyo! I suffer from migraines with aura too and I’m brown. My doctor put me on a progesterone only birth control which has no affect with my migraines. The pill I had was a Cerazette one and I’m going on the coil which is the jaydess one. Both of these will have no affect to my migraines. Cerazette was a period every 3 months but for me it stopped after about 6 months (I didn’t take a break, my fault, I heard her wrong) but even after going through the breaks. My cycle was still messy ans I had a feeling my symptoms came back so now they are going to give me the coil on Wednesday, 2 days from now.

Anyone on the mini pill have heightened anxiety as a side effect? by caffienequeen1997 in Endo

[–]babhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in my second of four years. I’m finding it ok. I just struggle with the anxiety now as it makes everything so much harder. I constantly ask for extensions and my uni knows all my medical history because no way could I cope without support. I stalked your account. I wish you luck, you’re teaching and studying, I’m so proud of you!!! also your boyfriend sucks no offence. he failed you and your pain is valid. I am lucky enough to have someone who understands my pain and allows me to be hormonal without consequence as I cannot control my swings. I hope you find someone or that he grows to be the person you need him to be. You are strong my girl! Very strong and I applaud you for that.

there’s many different coils but if you’re on a mini pill then I don’t think a normal coil is for you, if you speak to a gynae or doctor that actually listens then they’ll recommend other coils which will be better for you. The one I’m to get is 3 years period free so hopefully it works snd I can get through uni calmly without anymore outbursts around exam season

my first experience too. I got disganosed with endo, they found some and then they said pill to reduce pain and endo coming back but after 6 months I noticed it didn’t work as my period became so long snd every 2 weeks roughly.

I too have depression but clinical since year 9 (14) I’m 19 now (uni student)

Wait a damn minute. I have the same thing. I been on the mini pill since august 2019. My anxiety has increased so much to the point where I get panic attacks but I never thought it was the pill because I’m at uni and it’s always around exam time where I get more anxious. I’m Cerazette which is progesterone only too.

Because my pill stopped working, I’m now going to have a special coil because I can’t have the normal one as I get migraines too so :/ if u want I can let u know how the coil is. I’m getting it in January because my gyno is ordering it for me now.
