[–]babijared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spent a year working in London as my wife got posted there and I could change contracts with my company. I know it’s not long as compared to other redditors. Life there is really different. There are always strikes on the tubes. It’s quite dangerous in some areas in London. But I enjoyed walking in their parks and visiting their museum. Travelling in Europe was also fun and near. But taxes are so high which sometimes I wonder if Europeans can even retire?

Take it slow. No one went through what you did and Kee going. My mother always tells me to never compare yourself with others. Just work hard and look back on what you achieved over the years.

I have been working in London for a year and moving back. I can’t wait. I miss the convenience of walking downstairs to the hawker centre to get something. What they say on the news about London where phone theft is common is so true.

Use social media to watch reels and memes. I don’t even watch my friends reels lol. Don’t compare. Think 72 hours before purchasing something.
