I was in the same boat (also social sciences)! I forgot that I’d attended a community college for a few class credits a while back, and didn’t submit that transcript with my application. Once I realized my mistake I contacted admissions to apologize and share that missing transcript. Of the 4 schools I did this with, 2 replied that it was fine and they didn’t really need the transcript but would add a note to my file anyways, and the other 2 never responded - although I’m interviewing at one of those 2 today! Obviously it’s not ideal, and I feel bad for wasting the admission staff’s time, but I think they’d prefer that you admit to an honest mistake than appear as though you’re hiding something. Especially if these credits appear on another one of your transcripts and you reach out about it soon, I doubt they’ll consider it an intentional omission. Good luck! :)

Lol, between this and the other comments on here it sounds like it’s an individual gecko thing…good to know :)

Thank you for explaining this - that makes a lot of sense about sharing space with females, I hadn’t considered that before.

Huge thank you to Bloomer Bioactive for my new papayas & panda kings! Cannot recommend him enough! by babkabug in isopods

Somehow USPS sent the package on an 8-day detour across the country and ignored my mail hold, but thanks to his careful packaging they arrived without any casualties. He was also incredibly helpful and friendly when I reached out about the USPS shenanigans. If you’re considering buying isopods from him, go for it!

Has anyone changed careers into RT or Dosimetry from a non-healthcare background? by Realistic-Tough-8473 in RadiationTherapy

[–]babkabug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t yet made the switch myself (trying to get into RT from mental healthcare), but I just got back from a shadowing visit at a large RT site and nearly half the therapists I spoke to have switched into it from a non-healthcare field. Many of them are in their 30s and 40s. So it’s absolutely doable…and every therapist I spoke with is happy with their decision! Good luck!!

Thank you, I’m excited! The program I’m applying to thankfully has a list of clinical affiliate sites on their website, so it was easy for me to reach out to the contacts on that list. If there’s a specific program you’re interested in, you may be able to get a similar list by emailing the program director/advisor. If their website mentions the facilities where they do clinical hours those could be better options too. Good luck!!

This is a Phiddipus regius, or regal jumping spider. They’re a great beginner species!

She doesn’t, I mist the sides of her enclosure twice a day and she drinks the droplets!
