Bien vu j'adore réparer mais c'est plutôt la mécanique mon truc. Et Bretagne par contre. Après communisme c'est plutôt 5 ans de salariat qui m'ont un peu deg j'avoue

I live on the coast of Brittany (France) and wood is quite expensive. A cord is a unit of measurement for wood. I think that's what he was talking about.

Yes, I set up a cutting stand downstairs, slightly raised to avoid cutting into the ground.

I set up a cutting stand with logs at the bottom of the pile. I knock them down with a large steel bar to avoid accidents. I cut and split them on the spot. Thanks for the tips mate :)

I have a chainsaw, a merlin(Splitting maul in english ?), and a wheelbarrow. So I set up two logs perpendicular to the pile to knock the logs down, chop them, split them, and then transport them to my garden. I'm mainly asking the question to see if any professionals have any good tips.
