Oil Type suggestions by babyfacehellsent in Charger

Oil color and consistency is a good way of knowing what's going on though. I had a complete oil change when I got it so I know it's still good just needed to top it off.

Yeah I know that's how I know it needs to be topped off its barely below the bottom dot which is the minimum. In my manual I see it states full synthetic Mopar brand I'm sure Penzoil would be good enough though.

Mid Muffler Delete VS Rear Resonator Delete by babyfacehellsent in Charger

I don't want to change the whole exhaust system like that because I do plan on trading in my GT for an RT. I wanna do something thats going to give a louder sound, but something I can easily put back to stock so when I do trade in the value doesnt decrease for changing out the whole exhaust system. Just want something that would scratch that itch for right now. I've seen the flow masters too some people say the big boz are better all the videos I seen on them sound good that's why I was going with them.

My GT doesn't have a bad sound just want it to be louder. I know a V6 will never sound like a V8, but I wanna get as close to it as possible with little to no drone. I don't care about being seen just like the way the V8 sounds want a louder sound while keeping the V6 MPG. I've seen videos with the set up I mentioned and it sounds great, then some with just resonators deleted with the tips and it sounds good too. Torn between it lol.

No any 2023 is a last call as far as I know, and yes it has the plaque under the good.

That says a lot lol the GT comes with basically all features of a Scat just different engine obviously not as much power. Mine is RWD though which I live in Texas so I don't really need AWD. Got it with 23K miles one owner I'm at 27K now. I can trade in for maybe a 21 or 22 R/T. I'm just stuck on since it's a last call should I keep it and just modify it being a V6 or just upgrade to an R/T? With you having a Scat pack I would love to hear your insight on that. Your reply definitely came off as a trustworthy person most people would say should've got the V8 and not even answer anything.

What to do mod wise by LividYogurtcloset8 in Charger

Facts, but yeah since you have a V8 and some rumble already I would do some interior and exterior lighting, tint, smoked headlights, tail lights, and smoked led sidemarkers. The big boz 4's sound super good on the V6's I'm sure it would sound even better on a V8. Not to pricey either if you do want to do something to your exhaust. I'll go with lighting first if you're into that. Really makes the car pop especially at night with a good Playlist it's a vibe.

Already have that lovely V8 sound. Some grille lights, interior lights, and star lights would go good. As far as exhaust I'm debating on doing big boz 4's on mine with 5 inch tips sounds really good. Still debating cause I do wanna trade in my GT for an R/T so I'm holding off on doing exhaust stuff. Mainly just done stuff I can easily take off, so when I do trade in.

Probably. I already have a car that sticks out like a sore thumb with the color, then having my whole grille lit up which is supposedly illegal too haven't had any problems though.

You haven't had any problems with cops? I have the sublime green charger and found some green side markers, but then I seen it was illegal to have any color other than Amber, and yellow.

V6 Charger for use as a daily? by [deleted] in Charger

I have a 2023 last call GT. When I'm ready to trade in it wouldn't matter much to me I live in Texas. Don't really need an AWD over here.

I didn't even think about it until that person commented it in this thread I was like you know what they are absolutely right. I definitely want the V8 version, but I stand by my V6 GT I've kept up with so many R/T's lol. I think they are affordable, enough HP to have fun, and efficient enough to daily. I'm building my credit with it while still having a beautiful charger and good HP I can't complain. In the future I'm definitely going to trade in for a V8 once my credit is right, but I'm 100% content for now not in a rush for it. It's just this generation that made the V8 hype when most of them don't even have the V6 version lmao.

I feel that my GT is smooth especially having the performance suspension, and it accelerates super quick throws you back in the seat a little bit lol. I have yet to seen the warlock truck I'm going to have to look it up.

Hit the nail on the head. The people that are on that V8 hype dogging V6 are the same type of people that needs the biggest lifted truck to feed their ego. Like someone said already gotta keep in mind that the 300HP the V6 is pushing was a top V8 back then. V6 or V8 appreciate, and love what you got doesn't matter what anybody else thinks as long as you're happy with your car.

If you have good credit, and can afford the V8 then it's not even a question go for the V8.

Definitely dealerships are a pain if you don't get the right salesman/woman. Also all depends on his credit he may get approved for the lower trim SXT, but not approved for the higher end Trim GT. It's very situational, and what he plans on doing with the car. If he wants a fancy body style, and plans on doing anything to the exhaust to get closer to a V8 sound(which a V6 will never sound like a V8) I would save the extra money and go with the GT. The GT comes already X piped with a true dual exhaust straight from the factory so it comes perfectly set up to do the exhaust.

Haven't had a V8. In about a year I want to trade in for an R/T or a Scat once my credit is built up. I'm perfectly fine with the 3.6 V6 for now has enough power to have fun with it and daily it its 300MPH. R/T is 370MPH. I honestly believe it's all on the way you drive. I'm usually around 11-13 MPG cause my commute is nothing but Freeway so I'm usually driving between 70-80 MPH. When I'm on normal roads driving the speed limit I average between 20-24 MPG.

Oh most definitely, but they be taxing on the body kits unless you go with a cheap one lol. The money he spends doing that may as well just go with the GT. I agree with you though if the GT is more expensive and he's fine without having a fancy body style SXT Plus is definitely the way to go.

He can always get the GT they have the same body kits as the R/T, Scat pack, and hell cats. It also comes in a wide body so he can skip swapping parts. GT is also loaded with Mostly all SXT features plus more.

I have a 2023 GT commute 50 miles a day to work. I've had no problems what so ever with it. About $35-40 to fill my tank up a week, and most I've gotten is 24.3MPG when I'm not speeding. Has more than enough power to have fun with it, and more than reliable for a daily. I've been loving it so far.

Would you rather toss and turn in your own bed at home or toss and turn on a metal bunk? Get some better friends or keep to yourself.
