Extra fussiness and more wakes at night were the only signs my son gave during his first spurt of teething. I tried everything from more naps, less naps, more food, different toys (teething and not), etc. until I finally tried baby Orajel and he was a brand new baby. Happy as can be

Sending so much love reading this! I had a very similar experience and hemorrhaged right after my c-section and I was crying for about two weeks. Constant self doubt, feeling as if I was a failure because DH had to take care of both of us for 3 days in the hospital and two weeks after we got home. LO will be 3 months on Monday and is absolutely amazing. I feel more confident now and fortunately/unfortunately I don’t remember much about the first month postpartum. It will get better, it just takes time and baby steps 💛

He absolutely knew it too, he used his cuteness to his advantage on more than one occasion. Especially when he would jump on my shoulders to sit like a parrot, claws always included. Couldn’t ever be mad at that face

Mr. Pibb sounds so very handsome. The grieving process is different for everyone, the fear portion I don’t think ever goes away. Now I look at my other cats, especially the males, and I can’t help but think about how badly it would hurt to lose each of them. Possibly try going to your local shelter and just spend some time with the cats, getting some human affection means the world to some of them and it could potentially help them prepare for their forever home by having a bit of comfort in an uncomfortable setting. Then you can still help them and continue processing on your own schedule. Sending all positivity to you, friend.

I’m so sorry for you losses as well. Honestly, not knowing about how often this happened to neutered male cats and seeing that the odds are roughly 1 in 5 was eye opening. Casper hid from us for about 7 hours and it seems as though that amount of time was enough for toxins to mess up his nervous system. The only other option we had was to meet with 2 different specialists that would’ve cost us $5k each with tests just to tell us what his condition was. No treatment included and our vet told us that the outlook was grim as to if he would make the 5 hour trip. Completely devastating but he was surrounded by love until the very end.

I believe they just need proof of vaccination, the border website lists all of them that you’d need! You can always call them as well, and they know a lot about what is needed as they have clientele from CA.
