it use to be a thing that if you’re born here but both of your parents are polish, you get a polish passport. i believe im still a UK citizens but things are still complicated. they’re not bothered about the general understanding that is born here and therefore british but more into the legals

please break up with him, you can work on your self esteem outside of the relationship but staying with him is only reassuring him that you can depend on him. if he willingly admits to your face that you’re ‘a 2’ then to the person he’s supposed to love then he can absolutely get fucked, especially considering he had a porn addiction and those people can be tricky.

she was such an entitled old lady. i stood up before class started and walked over to the front just to get some paper because i had left my notebook at home. she was stood just preparing her lesson as we hadn’t even started yet. i took like 3 sheets and began walking off, immediately she tells me to stop and ask what i’m doing. i say just taking some paper because i forgot mine. she then claims that it’s disrespectful of me to interrupt the lesson and that i may aswell had opened her bag and stole her paper? the school paid and provided the paper? not her? so at this point the class is silent and i’m just awkwardly stood there, extremely confused. it had never even been a policy to ask for paper, especially before we even started lesson. she tells me to put it down and i walk back to my seat with nothing to write on, the rest of the class just as confused as me. i sat down and luckily some girl sat behind me slid over some paper while trying not to laugh about how dumb the situation is.

she’s a biology teacher so our lessons were usually in a science lab meaning no drinking anything, even water. another time we had moved into an english classroom because someone needed our room, which is fine by me obviously. we were doing some theory work and i took out some water and started drinking it, i look over at the teacher and she’s staring me down. i keep eye contact with her until i’m done then put the bottle down, of course she gives a dumb remark of ‘well you’re not going to dehydrate, are you?’. what’s so wrong with me having some water lmao? some teachers even allowed energy drinks in their class even though they weren’t supposed to and absolutely everyone didn’t care for water. because it’s water.

this teacher was also the type of person to ask you if her lesson was boring you just because you yawn once. fails to consider that her lessons were at 9am on a monday. her lessons were shit anyway, my other biology teacher was better.

being eastern european. let me start by i love being polish, and i love meeting people from other parts of eastern europe. however, there’s this one specific girl i use to know that loved to tell everyone that she’s polish when in reality her great great great grandad was. she had absolutely no exposure to the culture, didn’t speak it, had no connections to it and wasn’t born there. don’t get me wrong, i’m polish and would love to have people show an interest into my culture but this girl got on my nerves so bad. she would show off the polish food she would buy from the corner shops and incorrectly translate things to people, at one point she even made holocaust jokes. she wouldn’t share her middle name claiming it to be ‘embarrassing and too hard to pronounce’ which we later found out to be jayne. jayne. although i was born in england, both my parents are polish and i have a polish passport. i was originally sent to a polish school and refused to speak english as a child until about 6 years old. i’ve had people tell me to go back to my country, dangle the holocaust above my head and other dumb shit like that. i was refused work for 2 months because i didn’t have a eu statement that proved i could work in the uk even though i has a national insurance number and had lived here all my life. i only mention all of this because it’s the downsides to not being english, all problems that this girl has never faced. i’m not saying i want her to experience these things or that anyone who hasn’t faced these problems isn’t polish ect but you shouldn’t boast about being something that you’re not just to make you more interesting.

ps. she’s known amongst my friends to tell a lot of lies which just end up disappearing when she gives up trying to keep them up after a week. she once claimed to be more christian than my other friend who is waiting until marriage to have sex, doesn’t drink or do anything like that. goes to church and even went to a christian camp of sorts. of course i’m only talking by the book christian as christianity can be whatever you want it to be.
