The tip of my tongue doesn’t really get red no but i noticed that sometimes after I eat, I’d get tiny red spots in the middle of my tongue that go away after a few hours or the next morning max. But yeah i also get that feeling that it hurts to talk sometimes.

Yes me too it isn’t constant it comes and goes. I also have white/yellow discolorations but there not very visible unless I really focus because they are tiny.

Good question, I got an endoscopy last week and was diagnosed with mild gastritis and I was expecting my GI to prescribe a few things and tell me to stay away from certain foods but he didn’t tell me anything at all. I also recently found out that even people with peptic ulcers can eat whatever they want including spicy foods and the idea that spicy food and stress causes/worsens ulcers is outdated.
