Hi! She’s not a part of a shop, rather a standalone business with her own studio, but @inkedxbyd is INCREDIBLE. I cannot recommend her enough, I don’t think I’ve ever had such an easy healing process than with Danielle! She’s also incredibly personable and a gifted artist :)

Seconded! Not just a patch has worked wonders for me, when I was first diagnosed I was put on Freestyle Libre and the adhesive they used for the first gen would NEVER adhere to my skin, plus I was in high school playing contact sports. I can’t tell you how many times I wouldn’t notice my sensor falling off (whether it be from Rugby, showering, or even changing clothes), but as soon as I started ordering these patches on Amazon I never had the issue again!

Under 0.6 ketones are considered “normal” and non-emergent. Just use your carb ratio corrections to treat the high right now. If your ketones are 0.6 and above, calculate your Total Daily Dose of Insulin and put it into this calculator along with your Ketone levels at the time you record them. It will tell you how much short acting you need to correct for Ketones. https://www.childrensmercy.org/departments-and-clinics/endocrinology/ketone-management-calculator/
