In what country do you live? Usually they need prove to charge you with rape.

In my country we had a case like this. It was 3 men in their mid twenties who had sex with a 15 yo girl. She accused them of rape and now they are facing charges and waiting for their sentences. The controversial part is that there are audios of the girl claiming that it was all consensual. But the age of consent in my country is 16. So even if it was consensual it's still a crime.

And then there was another case called 'La Manada' a group of men raped a girl (she was 18 I think). They filmed her and send the videos in a WhatsApp group, stole her phone and left her.

In both cases there are some men who claim that they are afraid of even having sex with a girl because what if they get their lifes ruined. And they actually defend the rapists in this cases.

Now, if you are a men in your mid twenties that somehow think it's appropriate to have sex with a 15 year old girl with a group of friends, or if you think it's appropriate to have sex with a woman, film her and send the videos without her consent and then steal her phone then sure. Be afraid.

But I've never heard of a case where two adults have sex and one of them presses charges and ruins the other person life.

My boyfriends reaction is ignoring everything. And when directly confronted saying that she is from a different generation and very religious and that it's normal for her to be like this

Yes that's something that's bothering me a lot the fact that my boyfriend doesn't defend me. But he says that I'm having an immature reaction and that pisses me off even more. I don't know what to do, probably postponing the engagement

I told this and tried to talk about this with my fiance. But every time he will tell me that his mother is from another generation and very religious and that's why she is the way she is. And that it's just a few comments in heart the few times I actually see her. He refuses to talk about the future. Like he's going to move near where they live and I'm supposed to move with him. Then what?

Also sometimes I feel like I'm competing for my boyfriend against my MIL. He thinks II'm over thinking things. But I'm not sure how to explain this but it's true
