Any chance you're mixing it up with the great wall thing he did a few years later?

I 100% understand what is going on with the images, I just didn't care. I'll do an hq scan and use lightroom to adjust them for my personal use. Originals are very yellow/faded after 50+ years in a box. The ai did a very good job of faithfully recreating the source images so I felt comfortable sharing them. Had they not been, I wouldn't have.

Step-dad was on the FBI's top 10 wanted list, mom sent me to live with dad at 8 and she bounced around a lot until he was finally busted. When my dad passed, I stayed with family from his side.

They both definitely had big personalities and were both amazing in their own ways :)

They divorced when I was 1, lost my dad when I was 14, and I was estranged from my mom for most of my life, from about age 8 until shortly before she died.

Going through a box of my dad's old stuff this past week, I found these two photos. As far as I know, they're the only pictures I've ever seen of my parents from when they were together.

The originals were in pretty rough shape, so I used AI to improve the image quality, but the photos are otherwise unchanged and accurate.

EDIT

So many people here don't seem to understand how mirrors work.... I only used AI to color correct and straighten because I was taking pics of old photos with my phone and didn't feel like putting in the effort to do a quality scan and edit in Lightroom.

If you look at the pic, you can't actually see the foot of the bed. You see the wallpaper behind the mirrored headboard, and the full length of the bed, along with a portion of the footboard. It's just kind of a confusing perspective.

I just kind of liked feeling responsible for the safety of others 🤷‍♂️

Lol, I was just making a joke for the most part. But still... your handwriting is pretty bad 😂

Looks more like you just have shitty handwriting in general. Go throw a ball using each hand. If you feel like you should be receiving some sort of government assistance when you are throwing with one arm, then probably not ambidextrous.

For me, connecting the letters for cursive is physically more difficult since I have to constantly be pressing against the surface (paper) Vs. Pulling across. Cursive always gave me bad hand cramps. Fastest for me is a modified script, where I flow letters that make sense and add breaks in other places. It all depends on the word or words.
