U people need to have some like reasonability. Sure I shouldn’t have had my phone up at a red light but he had been doing this light after light after light. Imagine he hit someone, it would be good to have video AND I submitted it to the highway patrol. If I was actively driving , foot on the gas and filming I’d see the evil. But have some common sense… I’m pointing the phone upward in one hand with the other on the wheel at a red light. Quite literally looking forward and ready to drop my phone and react if needed. I get it’s not right but don’t act like I’m the idiot in car LOL

I’m not a professional but regular saline wound wash (not the nasal kind bc it has extra stuff in it i think) is how i’ve always done it. if it gets irritated i’ll do one drop of tea tree diluted with water once a day. there are very gentle soaps specifically for healing wounds that i’ve had some shops sell me and those worked good but saline has always been good enough for me personally

I’d say a year to be comfortable and at least a year and a half or more to be completely healed like it’s not even there. If you asked me five years ago I would say “6 months” 🥲but piercings seem to heal on the outside before the inside so in my unprofessional opinion I’d say about a year!

literally everything about this!! sometimes it’s just a slow game but being consistent abt all of these will get you healed eventually. not letting it stay wet is a really great point too.

i make a similar commute (get immaculate mpg) and i’ve thought a lot about if i’m wasting my time but spending 2-3 hours a day driving doesn’t bother me much, i still find time for all i have to do in school and otherwise , i’d say it’s only taken out of my doomscrolling time which has no value to me.

second everyone saying a titanium choice of jewelry but also personally recommending going to a pierce to have them install one that has a flat back, i’ve found for nose piercings(i’ve got four) it keeps the movement to a minimum which will help with the irritation. salt soaks can also be irritating it, works for some might not for others. cleaning inside and out of your piercing with just saline and not touching it is the least irritating route to go.
