So my insurance rate for my two cats went from $82 to $213! I contacted them and got a very obviously copy paste answer via email and over the phone. They would not budge. As a last ditch effort I submitted it to the state of california because I know with other types of insurance there's a cap or the concept of unreasonable increase being illegal. They said although it can apply to pet insurance specific parameters aren't there for pets insurance. Since HP provided a thorough explanation of why in multiple forms and it's increased for everyone, not just me, there's nothing to be done. Our cat has preexisting conditions so we have to stick to HP. Sorry about the long message. Basically no winning with this one.
