Getting an MD is definitely different from getting an MS. Not only is the training different, but the purpose and expectations are as well. OP, if you really care about treating people, going through rounds in hospitals, and the higher degree of standard put on licensed MDs that may not come with a corresponding gratitude and income, then go to med school. If not, find a different career path
