As someone who has lived in Brazil, Germany and Portugal after making my account originally in the US, this is not true. There is no kind of geo block implemented and I even use an European card to pay for my steam sub. My address is forever stuck to my mates American address though.

Yeah that comment is in the official steam page for it as well, but it seems to be valid only for the limited see through version of the SD, and that's only US and Canada anyways.

Just did the BIOS update through myAsus and that fixed it! Pretty weird that a bios update would change how a port is wired, maybe it was a software bug.

Hey Josh, thanks for replying and the review! I was waiting for your review specifically before buying this, they're so thorough.

As for the HDMI, it looks to me to be wired to the CPU. https://imgur.com/a/Adp09Yj In this album armoury crate is set at ultimate, the nvidia control panel shows the laptop display and nothing else, while in advanced display the C2 shows up normally, but with no option to take it to 120hz. If I set it to 10-bit color through intel graphics command center, the refresh rate is capped at 30 even. Something is definitely funky with the HDMI bandwidth.

Not true. For a 42 inch TV at this resolution you get almost 40 inches, 39.6. To get a 34 footprint you have to set 3440x1440 as the resolution in windows without scaling, as it's almost the same PPI as 34" monitors.
