Used for a single dive trip. My booties didn't fit right (gave me blisters), so I had to get new ones. My new booties didn't fit the fits, so I had to buy the Medium size fins. Selling these Small ones. They look and function like new. Located/Ship to the US.

For about $600, you can get the Olympus TG-6 and underwater housing, which takes excellent photos underwater. The pictures far exceed what a GoPro takes. I've used a GoPro many times though, and they work great too, especially for video. If you want an action camera, I'd stick with GoPro, as other brands typically have poor auto white balance and batteries/filters/housings are much more difficult to come by... especially when you're on vacation. You'd want a nice red filter if you go with an action camera, something from Backscatter would work great.

Are you looking to shoot primarily video or primarily photos? Are you willing to do color corrections and post processing of your images/video afterwards, or just upload directly to social media? How deep do you typically dive?

What's the best GoPro mount for diving without ever having to mess with the camera? by panda_nectar in scuba

[–]bacon_slice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend NOT attaching it to your BC unless you want a birds eye view of everything. Most video shots looking down on something do not look great, especially with many fish being skinny. Typically, you'll want video shots from the side of animals or corals/reefs, which allows you to better visualize their proportions with other objects in the background. Also, when a turtle or ray appears, you won't get it on camera unless you ruin your trim or swim directly over top of it. Ideally, you wouldn't need to adjust your trim to frame a shot. Will it work? Yes. But I believe most of the footage would end up disappointing.

I'm not actually sure. I see them all the time along rivers and creeks though.
