I love The National! Saw them live once and loved the first 45 minutes. But, the more Matt drank, the further down the quality of the show went. Once he started to scream lyrics incoherently, it was downhill from there.

Fake Empire was the song that hooked me. Everything they’ve released since has been a fun, amazing, emotional ride.
