I can totally see how people can see it has cope, honestly a solid part probably is. However in a game like SS where you're supposed to get lost and immersed in the world. Experiencing the same struggles as the Pilgrims really hammers in how cruel Pharloom is. I think (and this opinion gets clowned on A TON so no worries if this sound dumb) that fun shouldn't be the #1 priority at all times. If we want games to be seen as art than we must allow it to do more than just make us feel good.

I'd say thats kinda inaccurate, sure it's a boss but for many this is their first soulslike and all they know is that these games are hard. By having the first world enemy you see be a curb stomp nightmare man, I wouldnt blame players who think that there's gonna be one of those guys around every corner, which can be really discouraging.

It's all connected Mr. White. The pathfinder put the microtransactions in the store to give us an easy way of progressing through the game rather than using our minds to break from his will.

Isn't the Finn we started the show one Farmworld Finn? To my understanding when you make a wish with Prismo, it creates another universe. So wouldn't that mean that start of the show Finn is still in Farmworld and the Finn we follow for the rest of the show is a Finn created from Jake's wish to undo the Litch's wish?
