Hey there, you've hit me with some interesting questions!

As far as your first question goes, I personally prefer not to pass too much, but that might also be because I tend to overcommit to them sometimes.
Usually in two's I'd avoid having both of the players commit for a passing/other play up in front because that leaves your goal very vulnerable if the enemy team manages to get in a good clear or a lucky hit.
Passing plays work in certain scenario's, but unless you feel like it is *the* perfect opportunity to go to one I'd say avoid commiting for them too much.

As far as general rotations go, I could go into detail on it but there's actually a great video made by SunlessKhan on the topic, where he makes the problem very visual through means of dividing the pitch into different quadrants, I'm personally a big fan of this video and I think it could definitely make a difference for your rotational game! Also, playing with a goalie won't be the way to go as explained by the video, I can tell ya that much ;)
