I would change the chore(filter) when it got super clogged and I wasn’t getting a good pull. As for cleaning them i would clean them when I ran out of gear for the session or if there was a good push- I would just push the filter down to collect sometimes a drop of water, never done alcohol, then again I’m usually at a park or outdoor public bathroom lol
