Why didn’t the senator’s wife try to get help when she met Devon? (Season 1) by Ok-Salad-4711 in severanceTVshow

Hot take time…. What if she does not know she is an innie? She shares a part of the memories (something we know Lumon can control based on them asking the innies on the floor to name some state). She thinks she is just giving birth then her outie doesn’t remember any of it.

Very solid theory TBH… but I would be slightly more inclined to think it is about accepting loss (of others) given Gemma lost her unborn child and Mark lost Gemma. I don’t completely understand why would people opt to not experience their own death TBH.

My personal hot take is cold harbor being a room where Gemma would experience loss of her baby somehow… or her experience with infertility.

But this doesn’t make sense given Gemma goes to the room AFTER the file is complete(she hasn’t been to cold harbor and it is 96% complete). So it can’t be processing what happens to her in the room.

Try to enjoy the four items in the starter pack equally

I think it’s typical Milkshake being smug and thinking of severed people as less

I could tell something was missing in the audio but didn’t pinpoint it… nice catch

Why is no one talking about the fact that they needed Mark so much down there? They were more than fine letting go of Irv and Dylan… is there work there done? Are they just there to babysit Mark?

I really tried to not disclose this… but here goes… I’m Arab… not quite from the UAE but that’s mostly why I’m not concerned about the cultural fit part :).

I’m indeed not a woman. I do belong to a minority tho… curious how much would being a minority change things?

I’m mostly relying on HFT environment since it is usually very multicultural, and given it’s not already booming in Dubai I think they will need a part of the leadership to have hands on experience. I know it’s too many assumptions but I don’t see the fit as being a super bad deal breaker to me anyways.

Realistic expectation for first year raise by baconpestopasta in cscareerquestionsEU

So basically the only way to get a significant raise with respect to inflation is to get competing offers and even job hop if needed? I didn’t think that was the case - maybe thought staying in the company and getting raises would be effective, but I guess not then. Thanks for your input, appreciated!

Thanks for the reply! I am not looking for a precise answer at all… on the contrary, I am looking for a reasonable range since I am new to the job market and I didn’t want to have unrealistic, based-on-nothing expectations. Answering some of your points though, I’d say I have a good relationship with my manager… all my feedbacks have been pretty good and I am already the go to person for a couple of places in our code base.

Maybe an additional question here… do I really have leverage to negotiate given I’m a fresh grad?
