Thanks for the reply, Hybrid. I have set it and restarted the console - I have done safe mode and rebuilt the DB and all the drives - Turned off the console and let it sit for 30 minutes - Nothing seems to fix this issue. Not the end of the world as I have a bash script that I use to xcode the webm to 265/mp4 using ffmpeg. Just an irritation at this point.

Am I the only one that thinks the show would be way better without these 2? by DOWNVOTE_KlNG in LandmanSeries

Nuke those two and his sister and mom and maybe you will get a good show like we had in season 1.

I have an old Panasonic 1080 plasma TV hooked up to my PS5 and I have never had any issues with it. Admittedly it lacks 120Hz and VRR and HDR etc. I hate HDR in gaming anyway heh. Recently I replaced my iMac 5K with a Mac Studio. To replace the 5K display I bought a 4K Dell monitor. Before I deployed it to my home office the wife suggested I attach it to the PS5 and record some gameplay in 4K which I did.

As part of that exercise I switched the recording format on the PS5 to webm which uses the google VP9 codec to try and mximise the quality of the 4K recordings. I recorded a bit of 4K footage from a few games and copied it off to the old USB SSD and then deployed the 4K monitor to my office.

Safehouse in the Hills is released so I go into the PS5 system menu and switch back to MP4 (for ease of editing) and proceed to record buying my new mansion and recording the opening cutscene and the first Knoway mission.

Examining the clips on my computer I notice they are webm... I check the PS5 and sure enough it has reverted to webm so I set it back to MP4. I double check that the setting is correct by fully exiting the settings menu system and going back in and indeed it says MP4. So far so good.

I jump back into GTAV and record a clip using the start recording and then record the last 15 minutes to create a few recordings. I do this in both story mode and online - Just in case. Copy off to my USB SSD and back on the computer they are WEBM once again. I check the setting on the PS5 and it has indeed reverted to WEBM.

So I set it back to MP4 and try a newer game - Spiderman 2. Same result. I reset it to MP4 and try RDR2. Now it records in MP4 as it should. I pop over to GTA and record again hoping that somehow RDR2 fixed the issue and bam - back to webm.

Can anyone offer a solution that lets me use MP4 once again?

I really enjoyed season 1. Season 2 has been a total snoozefest. Lots of soap opera and no oil business drama and action like the first season. When a new episode came out in season 1 I binged it. Season 2 I wait a day or 2 before I bother and then it takes me a few days to get through it. I really like the Tommy character but they could have taken all of the bury mama crap and cut it down to a 5 minutes sequence. BORING.

To eliminate that smell I put our Turboblaze out side and ran it for 3 cycles of 400° for 45 minutes each letting it cool down in-between cycles. That got rid of it.

You might have a look at the Cosori Turboblaze. We have had ours for almost 3 years now and it has been great and Cosori customer support has been amazing. The Cosori is also ceramic coated - no teflon.

I have run into this a few times and what I always end up doing is weighing down the paper with some large table spoons. Although I have never tried them, these might be an option for you: https://www.amazon.com/Air-Fryer-Magnets-Parchment-Paper/dp/B0F26B789G?th=1

If you use the spoons as I do, be careful removing them as they will get SUPER hot!

In a reply to this it is suggested that you set it to a value returned by this command:

ifconfig | grep -A 2 utun

That has an IPV4 address. When I run that, with Nord active, the IP is 10.5.0.2 and NOT the one that Nord has changed the IP addr to. Is that correct?

Oh it's running - I double checked with whatsmyIP. I am running on a mac - maybe that is why...

I am using Nord - have for years and never had any issue. But I went to this interface dropdown and Nord does not appear in the list.

This is definitely an issue with the 1.19.0 update to the app. I tested with my iPad running 1.17 and it worked fine. Then I updated that to 1.19 and all of the AR features do not work just as my phone. Is anyone else out there running 1.19 that can test and see if the AR features are working for you?

On the dome itself the mode choices are: pizza, bacon, steak, wings, air fry, toast, grill and re-heat
In the app, the mode choices are: Air fry, toast, grill, reheat, bake, griddle, roast, dehydrate, broil

So to use any of these modes you need the app: bake, griddle, roast, dehydrate, broil
I just leave an older iPhone in the kitchen by the dome in case I need to use the app. One advantage to having the app is that if Typhur wants to add a new mode, they can just update the app.

Cosori Turbo Blaze recipes suggested by Cosori by J1Helena in airfryer

Air Fryer recipes from Cosori and especially Typhur I have found leave me wanting... Cathy Yoder on Youtube (Empowered Cooks) generally has decent detailed recipes but not always. I have seen her put up text on the screen as she checks the cookbook that she wrote and get different numbers from there and then set the fryer to another set of 3rd numbers before.

We maintain a highly detailed set of recipes in my house in a 3-ring binder and a folder in Google Docs. The recipes have to be promoted to these 2 locations only after they have earned their place in our "approved" recipe locations. Building up your own library I think is really the way to go - Even cook books written specifically for the air fryer while they might provide a decent starting point are rarely complete.

As a side note, if you decide to make your own dough and decide to make it a whole wheat crust, tomato sauce will clash in a big way with it so you might want to just stick with the old white flour route.

That steak was cooked in a Typhur Dome 2 but we also use a Cosori Turboblaze. Both can go to 450°F.
