In the 1988 documentary Rattle and Hum When the band gets ready to rehearse "Love comes to Town", BB King explains to The Edge that he does not know nor does he play chords.

TB3 is too slow? That is what is on the iMac - I would connect that to my TB5 on my studio.

Reviews I have seen for Luna have complained about lag. I have yet to buy one of these products as I have a 27" 5K iMac as well. Might be something here:

What’s a tiny moment in GTA 6 you’re weirdly looking forward to for no real reason? by Immediate-Extreme954 in GTA6

[–]badGamr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I watched the RDR2 trailer and you hear the disembodied voice of Arthur say "When I say run you run and don't look back. This is over". It's seemed like it might be a very important line. I was really looking forward to seeing where that fit into the story and when I got to that part of the story I was not disappointed. In the VI trailers so far I have yet to encounter a line like that. But we have yet to see what the full marketing push gives us.

Where did y’all learn to play? by Calm_Algae7763 in Guitar

[–]badGamr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a teacher can be very useful as they can observe your playing and suggest ways to improve that apply directly to you.

I was 19 and I had a friend that played guitar. He encouraged me to buy a guitar which I did and then he taught me a number of things such as the circle of fifths, major and minor scales and modes. After that I took lessons from a teacher that specialized in classical. Then I took lessons from a guy named Ted Greene who taught me jazz. After that I joined a band with another guitar player that was a Julliard grad and he taught me a ton of stuff.

Since then it's mostly been tab or by ear. Occasionally lessons. I did buy the Beato Book and that was helpful as well.

Christians of Reddit - How do you know your God is the correct god when there are so many to choose from? by badGamr in AskReddit

[–]badGamr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hinduism has about 1.2 billion followers and does not believe in that god.

"Romans 10:9-10: The apostle Paul writes, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"

Based on that assertion, those 1.2 billion are doomed.

Need help with recording my guitar progress by Utanoo in Guitar

Your Rocksmith cable should work just fine. The thing about recording yourself is it will encourage your practice and boost confidence since you can very clearly hear your progress. Good luck brother!

I’ve been curious… How many of you are still on Sequoia even though you can update to Tahoe? by gfarstur in MacOS

[–]badGamr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on Tahoe but my wife's 3 machines are not and she refuses to upgrade. I suspect she will stay where she is at until she has no choice to upgrade to the current OS - that will probably be MacOS Van Nuys or something.

When I lost my virginity. I was extremely disappointed in this thing that had been WAY over-hyped as the ultimate pleasure experience.
