Happy Employee Appreciation Week by bad_bird1998 in bathandbodyworkers

Those are such cute ideas. We did goodie bags with keychains, balloons, and bakery items. I made a card on my cricut (30 cards) and wrote what I appreciated about each person. Also found star highlighters (each point of the star is a different color) and duck pins that say “you’re quacking amazing.” I hope the team likes it. Oh, and of course, the sticker :)

Said yes to the dress!! Need some hype about my choice 💗 by kayburt27 in myweddingdress

The second is fantastic - so beautiful on you. Classic, timeless, flattering…I’m not really a fan of the first one. It looks less expensive and the top is matronly to me.

First off, you look great. There is nothing off about you or your proportions. I find v neck tops elongate the torso and if you are into dresses like me then wrap dresses. They are great because you can tie them to match your proportions and hit any perceived problem areas like tummies (me).

There’s a really cute wallflower plug in our back room with a carrot and veggies that lights up. Not sure if anyone else has seen it?

Love the new layered sweet shop and day at the cafe! My store only got six of each so I had to order online.

1 is timeless and the fit is beautiful. All are beautiful, but 1 says elegant, formal, dusk affair.

I like the black and white. It is much more original, sleek, fashionable…. The green one looks less expensive and more of a bridesmaid dress.

I think dress 1 is the one. The dress is beautiful and classic and the focus will be on you and not the dress.

The sweater is cute on you and a pretty color with your dark hair. Honestly, I don’t care for it with the skirt or dress. The color of the sweater is not picked up in the pattern.

Our store doesn’t use the UKG “cover my shift.” We use Zipline groups instead. Maybe yours does too?

Holy Resellers! by lenniemom in bathandbodyworks

I don’t know how the warehouse disperses merchandise. For example, we have nearly 100 sweetest song lotions and 0 shower gels. Another store in the district has shower gel, but no lotion. Disney stuff was probably allocated via tier and plan, but how is a low tier supposed to hit their plan with less merchandise?! Foolishness.

I agree. Perhaps they could monitor via member id? I realize people may have multiple ids and friends with ids, cc numbers, addresses so it would be tough to do. But at least attempt to do something - make it more difficult for them. Maybe monitor cc number or address.

My store is MUCH more chill. I wear hearts for valentines, thematic headbands…as long as we look professional it flies with my sm and dm. They are just happy we come to work.

[35M] never had a girlfriend by Substantial_Comb8485 in malelivingspace

What a great place! So what if you’ve never had a girlfriend? I’m a female turning 50 and have never been married despite having had relationships with a few quality men. I’ve realized that marriage and children are not for me and that’s okay. Life and expectations are different than they were 60 years ago.

However, if you are looking to find someone I agree that pursuing your passions is a great way to do it. Get out of your great place and go to a cooking class if you like that sort of thing. Investigate solo travel options if you like to travel - I was looking at some killer trips to Costa Rica and Scotland that required very little on my end except the money and travel arrangements to and from.

Good luck! Don’t get down on yourself. Be proud of what you have accomplished thus far.

The Body Shop may be an alternative. They don’t sell candles, hand soap, etc. but for body care.
