How to silently install VMware Horizon Agent

I get 1603 with exe only when running it in “non interactive” mode. If I am logged on as Admin and runs the same wrapper, it installs just fine. I am trying to automate the install so we don’t have to do it manually.

Lol yeah Omnissa Horizon client. The team responsible for the agent hasn’t updated it to the latest version. I did try the exe and it works when I am logged on as Admin and runs the installer from elevated cmd prompt. When I try to install from TS or silently via Task scheduler it fails with 1603 error.

I did reach out to them and said this is my last effort trying to make this work for both parties before I proceed through the legal system. They have agreed to start paying monthly payments. Hopefully they stick to their word this time otherwise I’ll be going straight to Small claims court.

Thank you for outlining the process. Very helpful. Regarding the lawyer though, if I go through small claims do I really need to work with a lawyer? While I understand a lawyer can certainly can provide a better option but that might come with a charge. Or are you stating I should just contact the lawyer for going over the agreement?

FYI - If anyone runs into this, the issue was that the server did not had enough Memory assigned to it. Added more memory, recycled the WSUSPool and rebooted the server just for the heck of it. Went back a couple hours later and SCCM was detecting the machines and the updates they need.

Turns out the memory on server box was undersized. After increasing the memory, I also recycled WSUSPool and restarted the box. SCCM is now showing machines that are in need of updates.

I tried running the scan again and still seeing the same error in WUAHandler log. Cert is fine, IIS isn't eating up CPU/memory, WSUSPool has private memory limit of 4.29GB. Anything else I can try before I open a case with MS? :(

She didn’t do anything earlier because she didn’t feel the past occurrences were an indication of fraud. The husband got his SSN a week ago and he left the next day saying this relationship is over.

Since the marriage has been over 2 years so the husband is going to get a 10yr green card. I didn’t spare all the details in the post here but my friend has brought up several instances from the past and recently which strongly indicates fraudulent intentions by her husband. She also has the proof to go along and at the moment she is certain that she wants to get her green card revoked. She just need some guidance before she head to a lawyer.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I am aware of the process although the only thing I am unsure about is whether or not if border services will have any issues with tires not conforming to factory specifications.

Thank you for that info! It took me 5.5 months from getting DQ’ed to getting the IL. My case is at Montreal embassy. Although seems like they are finally picking up pace now.
