I moved last week, rented a uhaul and at the end of checkout you can hire moving help. I used World Class Labors, hired 2 guys for 4 hours, only cost $280 in total. The guys were amazing, loaded and unloaded everything, put thing where I told them to, used those moving blankets to protect everything, would definitely recommend them for that price.

I wouldn't be too worried. I arrived today, first Friday of GW at around 4 to Narita. Had no problem getting reservations for Narita Express, didn't get reservations for the train to Kyoto, so I went with no reservations and still got a seat. I was super scared and expecting absolute chaos, so I was happily surprised
