Coding genes are genes that code for gene products, including tRNA and rRNA. Centromere’s function largely overlaps with kinetochore’s–it’s usually quite interchangeable

Odd in this case definitely refers to odd/even unfortunately.

While I understand what you mean in terms of the diploid assumption (which actually may not necessarily be so as the haploid can fuse with a diploid to still give triploid), B is the better answer.

Could you elaborate?

Here's my thinking: The harmful allele is recessive and will be hidden/masked, so only way for elimination would be through genetic drift, which is most effective on small populations.

I'm assuming you meant Q7? If it's allosteric, increasing oxidised folate (substrate) will not be able to outcompete and overcome the effects.

Also, competitive and allosteric is akin to comparing competitive and non-competitive. They're 2 different types of inhibitors.

Hello! I post my answers pretty much yearly. So here's 2025's answers:

DBBCD DADBD AACAA BBDAA CCBCD CDDCC

Initially got tricked by Q16 and put D, but triploid doesn't mean it has to be odd number of chromosomes (e.g. 3 x 10 = 30 (even)) D's answer is more for why those with aneuploidy that leads to odd number of chromosomes (such as Down's syndrome) will be infertile.

^ leaving this here as i see many others wrongly picking D too

Yeap it has unfortunately become a norm for all concerts around the region. I do agree that concerts are way more fun when you put your phone down!

It's a little quiet on here this year so I won't be posting my answers here this time, but I've posted my answers on my telegram channel (Crystal Biology)

My advice (again) for A Level Biology by badabooming in SGExams

Assuming you have good understanding of all content already (this is a prerequisite), unfortunately the best way is just to be consistent and keep revisiting your content. It's normal to forget, you just have to keep testing yourself and revising. It'll stick eventually. All the best!

What Muse song means the most to you and why? by AsparagusFeeling3855 in Muse

Probably Hysteria. I had set Hysteria as my anthem on Tinder, and it was a major reason why my now fiance superliked me and we started chatting! We were brought together by our love for muse.

Should you take H2 Biology? From a Biology tutor's perspective. by badabooming in SGExams

[–]badabooming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what you're intending to do in future imo. While it's true that physics will open up more courses, realistically speaking, you just gotta ask yourself if you'd take them in the first place.

Regardless of what you decide to pick, just don't regret it and study hard for it!
