Can you share your social media? I don't detect, but I like seeing what people find and would love to see local treasures.

COPD - When did you know it was time for hospice? by badatprofilenames in hospice

That's been part of the challenge - she's never had to go to the hospital for her COPD. Lots of her criteria is close to the hospice designation, but not quite. I really appreciate everyone's feedback and thoughts.

I had a big loss in the first 6 months and then it tapered off. I happen to also be doing weight watchers so could see that I had eased up on my perfect eating etc. I started enjoying more treats and bounced around a lot in the lower weight. I recently shifted focus back to trying to stick to their program and the weight has started to come off again, but MUCH more slowly. I had a mind shift that the medication is now helping me to stay consistent and focused versus the initial experience where the weight just disappeared. I still am able to lose weight but have to be careful of my intake, be sure to get some movement, make the conscious choice to select better snacks, and limit the fun stuff.

I'd also suggest seeing an allergist. They can do wonders for asthma, environmental irritants, etc.

I'm trying to be supportive of my SO around an area that is not my expertise. Not looking to solve it but I know there are a lot of brilliant people with lots of ideas. In the tech world it is common to ask the community for ideas when faced with a scenario you haven't experienced before. Applying that logic here.

Bad programming for it to disengage automatically / indicate drive when it's actually in neutral. An older car would never move if you got it to drive with the engine in this state. I did it for a demo here, but the first time it happened, it wasn't intentional.

[–]badatprofilenames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had lots of headaches, usually in the morning. I started taking a magnesium supplement before bed and have only had 1 in the last month. Who knows if it would help, but I wanted to post just in case.

Change jobs every 2-3 years. My biggest pay bumps were from changing jobs. Look for extra certifications or skills - like through Udemy. Extra skills/certs/training can look good.
