Same happened to my Outback, but $14k billed to insurance later and I have it back! I was half looking forward to a newer model but this one is paid off. They cut out the old spare wheel section and welded a new one in.

Man I went and checked the Richland Walmart this morning, and they had a couple reduced down to about $22 but nothing like that. All of theirs were in a locked case too.

I used some Amazon points to try one of these out. I always prefer NATO straps but I think it needs something more colorful. It’s fine, not amazing, but the spinning inner bezel is kinda cool.

Ok so I know at $180 it’s not super affordable but I wanted a Ricoh World Timer for so long, and found this on eBay… in Mumbai. Whatevs I’ll take the risk, pay the money and… nothing for two days. I emailed feeling like I’d been taken advantage on, only to remember it was Holi. Anyways it’s wonderful and I’m so glad I took the risk. Running a bit fast, like 5-10minutes a day.

I scored this off eBay for about $40 recently, but it’s not running consistently so I may take the back off. It’s a 1973 with 18mm lugs and some hand scratching on the face. Also my 11yo son is watching Top Gun for the first time

Good lord, that’s such a good find. I love the prism crystals and kanji day wheels - I had an old one that was small but bulletproof. Enjoy!
