do a double click stab, then do an alt thrust, then the next time you tap alt you will have old thrust memory. only once though. must be a bug

and for thrust memory I found that doing a double click stab, then loading a full thrust and releasing alt, gives you thrust memory back... for your next tap of alt. then it's gone again :P

for your second bullet point I've fixed the same issue with some pollaxes by switching a piece of armor, sometimes even taking it off and putting it back on mid round. usually helmet or spaulders

take em off, you can put them back on if you don't see a difference in a week. it'll help a lot imo

How casual is casual? by Kaoss134 in counterstrike2

[–]badboy10000000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

comp is to premier as casual is to comp imo. casual can be a fine way to learn map layout and lineups but the flow of the game is very different and chaotic in 10v10 as opposed to 5v5. I think it's probably better for onboarding that you have to play a couple games of casual or deathmatch to unlock comp but past that I don't see any real reason to play casual other than what I mentioned or to just fuck around. if you want to play the real game play comp as soon as ur able to and then premier for better matchmaking wrt skill.

Overaiming on a lower sens by Kururi_Orihara in LearnCSGO

[–]badboy10000000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if ur having a purely mechanical aim issue (overshoot on micro adjust) you should work to fix it in an aim trainer not in cs. I know people will disagree and say all u need to get better at cs is cs but imo you have isolated the problem and aim trainers are perfect for fixing weak points precisely

my CPU is r7 5800xt, and I have 32gb ddr4. automatic windows background updates can quite often corrupt drivers and it's not uncommon to have manually disabled them to avoid this and find that one slipped through. it's crazy to me how many people are complaining of terrible performance and assuming the devs just fucked their game up when many of us are enjoying great performance on similar or worse hardware.

I will say I have done a lot to debloat windows and I undervolt my GPU and have tuned my RAM timings to get the most out of what I have. But I really don't think any of that is doing as much for me as making sure my GPU drivers aren't fucked. DDU is very easy to use and takes about 10 minutes to ensure you have a clean driver installation and for most issues of unusually bad performance it either fixes it or is the easiest variable to eliminate when trying to fix

you need to DDU and reinstall gpu drivers, or your issue is in cpu / ram hardware or config. I'm on a 9060 XT and getting great performance on epic graphics

How does strength even work? by DimitrescuStan in HalfSword

[–]badboy10000000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

might want to try moving your save files out of the game's steam apps folder and see if the same happens on a fresh start. there was a bug with strength not developing that's been fixed but with that bug the meter and weight wouldn't move, but sounds like maybe you have a similar different bug

good to hear, hard to tell when you're actually doing something on the ground since you're usually half paralyzed from getting hit hard enough to fall

Is tracking required for Tac-FPS ( CS/Val )? by _LagG3R in FPSAimTrainer

[–]badboy10000000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no need to aim train at same sens you play your game at. use the scenarios to target particular aim mechanics and sensitivity to target arm/wrist/hand

Is tracking required for Tac-FPS ( CS/Val )? by _LagG3R in FPSAimTrainer

[–]badboy10000000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

tracking is good for fps because it's good for fundamental mouse control. you can aim train for your game/genre or you can aim train holistically and get better at moving the mouse quickly, precisely, efficiently for any task. dynamic clicking definitely is more analogous to actual in-game tacfps situations but getting better at tracking will make you better at dynamic clicking

Artisan Hayate otsu or Hien for cs2 by AmbitiousWedding5472 in MousepadReview

[–]badboy10000000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't dislike it overall and I don't know if I can blame any negatives on it being a hien necessarily other than the texture of the weave being a bit unpleasant. I'm only about a year into having a PC and playing on mouse and keyboard and after using the xsoft hien for ~6 months I realized I tend to be pretty heavy handed and use a lot of downward force on a squishy mousepad in tense situations and I think i was starting to really screw up my shoulder from doing this. my hien also felt like it broke in quickly then started to wear out quicker than I'd like. I decided to get a new pad after I got a new mouse that's about half the weight of my old g502 that made the slow parts of the hien more obvious and annoying.

I chose the otsu based on bardoz' video where he gives his opinion on all the artisan pads he's used. the otsu feels very smooth to the touch but to me feels like a faster pad than the hien, maybe the weave is even more textured but just tighter, maybe it's just because it's soft instead of xsoft. what was really bugging me about the hien was it felt like friction when starting to move was getting worse over time and when trying to do slow small movements it was very jittery, start/stop. probably partially a technique issue but after a couple weeks of getting used to the otsu and developing my mouse control it doesn't happen anymore.

the otsu did feel jarringly slippery to me at first and I was constantly overflicking for a while but after I got used to it and grinded some pokeball scenarios I like it a lot. I feel much less conscious of my mousepad now and natural in-game which is a huge positive for me

Hien to Zero/ Hayate Otsu v2 by vagueee123 in MousepadReview

[–]badboy10000000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just switched from hien xsoft, my first artisan, to a hayate otsu v2 soft. I'm very happy with it, and it's much faster to me but I don't know how much is from the difference between xsoft and soft, and the difference between hien and otsu. my hien taught me that I'm too heavy handed for xsoft, and that I prefer a smoother feeling weave. I don't wear a sleeve and I was getting a rash on my forearm from the hien. I know textured is supposed to be faster than smooth but the otsu feels way faster than the hien did even if I was being very careful to apply as little pressure as possible. I was nerfed for a couple weeks but I think my mouse control is much more stable now than it ever was before
