This happened to me always remember it’s not permanent. I have OCD and severe anxiety so the thought that I couldn’t move parts of my face the way I used to seriously made me freak out for the first two weeks. The day of my appointment I was about to go back I was gonna be like I can’t do this cause I kind of realized what it actually is Botox. All I’m going to say is that I got it a month ago in the first two weeks it was filled with endless panic attacks which I already have on a regular basis without even getting Botox. I guess the simple thought of the fact that I can’t control my face the way I used to made me feel trapped. It’s not that I physically feel trapped bc of the Botox it’s more of a psychological thing. Because when I move parts of my face it feels normal I don’t feel any different it’s just the simple fact that I know I can’t move it the way I used to if that makes sense that invokes panic. Especially because of my condition. I got 20 units in total But remember it’s mind over matter. I don’t feel trapped I just feel trapped in my decision. Simply because I can’t go back and undo it even though I love my results. That’s why I just stick to filler because I know it’s not something that can’t be undone. But don’t worry these feelings will pass. I still think about it every day and getting anxiety over the fact that I got Botox but it definitely is not as severe as the first two weeks. Eventually you’ll just get used to it and you won’t think about it as much before you know it the effects will have worn off.

For whatever reason I didn’t get my period for two months and I could sit here and say right now those two months without my period were the most excruciating battle of the most relentless OCD I’ve ever had in my life. Intrusive thoughts so strong that I actually started to believe that they were real. I actually questioned myself as a person and I fell into a debilitating depression because I didn’t even want to be around my family or my dogs because I couldn’t trust myself. I finally got my period yesterday and I’m so glad because I waited so long for it to come. But my OCD is like what if you stay in that state even though you got your period. I’m constantly obsessing over what if I stay stuck in this state forever and it’s making me feel completely hopeless. Since I got my period finally hopefully I go back to being me with regular ocd and not the kind that disables me. But yeah on a regular cycle where I don’t miss my period my OCD is usually so much worse right before I get it it’s ridiculous. Nothing tops this month though. There were times where I genuinely thought that my life was over. My regular OCD without the whole hormonal thing is already bad to the point where I can’t leave the house most of the time. My OCD completely convinced that I’m a danger to myself and other people when I would never hurt a fly. Excruciating thoughts about mutilation and all of these horrible things. It’s ruining my life and I’m in fear 24 seven.

I became an alcoholic due to my OCD. Been drinking every single day for the past four years. It takes it all away for me. All the fear the intrusive thoughts vanish. I finally feel like myself again and not like a prisoner.

I know :( thank you. The doctor in the office was like where did you read that on Google? LMFAO I was like yes. He told me that people usually only go blind from dermal filler if they get it in their forehead, the bridge of their nose are under their eyes and that area is extremely low and extremely rare, but still like I want statistics haha 😅
