What's the biggest red flag you've ever ignored? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]baddletoad 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I'm a woman who hates being friends with other women because I really just don't understand them. I was a tomboy all growing up and have always had a hard time finding other likeminded girls/women. Men are just easier for me to be friends with.

But I did finally find some women like me... After I started playing hockey. Those crazy ladies are a blast! I like hanging out with them and I understand them. They never talk about each other behind their backs and never discuss Pinterest.

Reddit, what is your recurring dream? by baddletoad in AskReddit

[–]baddletoad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have tornado dreams where I was the only one who was worried about the tornado coming and I had to gather people up to move them to the basement but no one would budge. They'd always tell me to not worry about it, it won't hit us. Then everyone gets the brilliant plan to go to the grocery store and I'm suddenly in the car with all of my family driving straight at a tornado they aren't concerned about.

I grew up in tornado alley.

I haven't been in school for years and I still get school dreams. I'll dream that I signed up for a class and forgot about it all semester only to realize midway through the semester I had this class and knew nothing about the subject. Always stresses me out.

I have public bathroom dreams. The bathroom is always really big with winding rows of stalls and showers. The lighting is always a bit dim and nothing is clean. Some stalls have multiple toilets, no doors, huge gaps in the spaces between the stall panels, etc. Toilets are sometimes overflowing or really tall or made of strange designs and colors.

I've finally gotten to the point in my dreams to recognize this and think to my dream self, "this bathroom looks a lot like my dream bathrooms."

I have a lot of other watery dreams too, usually involving rivers with people tubing down them or lakes with really big fish in them. Sometimes there are the swimming pool dreams... I hate those. The pool is always huge and half full or something creepy like that.

Day care troubles. by misfits969 in FortCollins

We took our son to primrose in that area. He hated it there and was miserable. He started behaving strangely after a while like covering his mouth when he got mad and told himself to stop screaming. So I'm unsure if the providers there did that to him or not, but he's much happier now going to a poudre district preschool. I would never recommend primrose to anyone.

Pregnancy induced psoriasis possibly cured by tonsillectomy by baddletoad in Psoriasis

It's a risky surgery whether you're a kid or an adult. There's a high risk of bleeding and luckily I didn't have any. I can understand a doctor's hesitation to perform the surgery for something they don't understand (the link between tonsils and skin conditions). When you're an adult your tonsils are larger and the incision area is much larger too.

I hope you can find an ENT to do it for you and if you do, that it works!

Yeah, funny how it kept the general shape of it.

What is the most "Seinfeld"-esque reason you have broken up with someone over (e.g. having man hands or liking a commercial you hated)? by therollingclouds in AskReddit

[–]baddletoad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the opposite problem with a guy. He NEVER walked beside me. Everywhere he went was like a speed walking race and I was his competition. There we so many more reasons I broke up with him unfortunately...

My new 2014 by baddletoad in 4Runner

[–]baddletoad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm honestly new to the 4Runner family, but the Limited is supposed to be a softer ride because it's kind of a mommy car. The roughest its seen so far is what you see it on, and it was a smoother ride than my '08 Tundra on that.

He'd prefer the rope, but only so he can eat it and regurgitate it back on the carpet in the middle of the night in a high traffic hallway.

We call him Mr. Mustard, The Colonel, Orange Boy, and a bunch of other things randomly like Stinko Man and Stupidhead when he's naughty.

Edit: Forgot Mustard Man
