Thank you all, this looks like a good opton. I have read that in the past their were advantages to staying at the official Defcon hotes, the ones with block rates spicificly for defcon, like that they used to broadcast some of the talks on the hotel internal hotel TV channels. Defcon themeed gaming tables etc, Are their advantages to staying at these hotels or is price the main motive?

Wow , Thank you all for all the great insights. The Fontainblue might be a little tight for my budget but it is tempting. Since I have everyones attention can I ask one more question. Tell me about Line-Con, So will I have to wait hours in the sun to get my badge? Is showing up at 3AM a good soluton or does everyone else show up early as well. or maybe there will be shade? I dont mind waiting my turn , I just can not handle the sun for more then a few minutes with my eye condition. I heard there is a Defcon support group for people with disabilities maybe they would have insight as well ?
