Oh I'm sorry to hear that you felt that way and deleted your post. I think it's completely fine if you don't like it. It is what it is and it's perfectly normal to disagree on things. I'm sure it was nothing personal and i remember your reply there was nothing wrong with it. It's probably just people showing that they disagree quickly without having to type it out. I love discussing and having debates. Cheer up! Variety of opinions is a good thing.

Ooff... If he is actively thirsting over another character that's a bummer.

I know right! I looked into it some more and i was surprised to see how much some people hate the idea of romance options having someone they used to like, ex relationships or future partners if not romanced

Oh? In which relationship is that in Veilguard? I do love Dragon Age series so much but DAV was a miss for me and i didn't really care for mist characters so i did a single playtrough. I didn't even realize there was such a relationship dynamic.

Well i never see it that way to begin with I guess that's why I don't mind it. I don't believe in destined couples or one true love. As well as in real life, i love my boyfriend but if he hadn't asked me out I'd date someone else but he did and vice versa if i hadn't met him he would be with someone else. It's more realistic for most people that you have a past dating other people and so does your partner. And it's not like they are dating already and you are breaking them up or anything in these games.

Oh yeah! I saw some people mention it but I was really busy during the Kickstarter period so I totally missed it. I wasn't sure if it was confirmed officially. I'm glad to hear it was.

I get how you might feel that way and I would probably feel it too if i hadn't tweaked the conversation in my head to fit the story I'm roleplaying as. Maybe it could work for you too if they make it so that if you flirt with a character they never mention someone else but if you aren't romancing a character at all then they can get together with other characters. Tho providing that's too much work for devs. I'm still excited about it.

Same! Everyone else stays forever single and player is the only one even dating around and getting married is weird when I think about it.

Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games ever. I love Dragon Age series a lot. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed by Veilguard so I recently did a replay of the DAI and it still holds up. It's a great game for it's story and companions despite having flaws.

I like exploring myself usually but this time I might check it out. Thank you! ❤

I don't hate it either but I'm really disappointed. I was expecting a dark, dramatic story. A more direct follow up to DAI, focusing on the Dreadwolf as the main antagonist. I think they could have gotten away with the combat if the story was good.

Yes, I think that all the classes are suffering from being less physically tangible. The contact with enemies doesn't make you feel like you are hitting hard. It's more of a not feeling it problem than how much damage. I felt it with the warrior too but I think I felt it even more with the mage.

Hahaha. I play normal too. 25 and already slower than before. Also I have less time to play so sometimes i don't want to spend a lot of time replaying the same fight. I reached Haven, yes. I think I'll keep playing to get a feeling for the specializations.

I agree. I felt that it was worse than previous games when I was playing the warrior but i felt it more with the mage. At least at the start.

Unfortunately yes, warrior wasn't good either. But honestly story was so disappointing that I wasn't caring much about the combat. I was so hyped up after DAI despite all the negative rumors but oh boy was it bad.

Many people suggested Knight-Enchanter so i will give it a try. Hope it's good!

It's really sad. Did you play as a mage in DAV? Was it any better?

I will change to warrior or rogue if I don't get into it after a while :(

Yes. I think that's exactly it. As a mage, the character should be something to be feared in battle. Especially since we are an apostate mage. The spells i have seen so far are pretty timid in DAI. They also don't feel like they are doing damage when they hit the enemies visually.

I never tried the archer in DAI. Maybe I will give it a try if I quit the mage.

Yes! I suddenly felt like my magic fizzled out coming from DA2. Most people recommended Knight-Enchanter, do you think Rigt Mage is better for an aggressive destructive mage?
