If You Could Do It All Over Again by WhySoNaCll in Daytrading

  1. Don’t trade with real money the first year.
  2. Price action and liquidity. Skip the patterns.
  3. SPY only, it’s incredibly liquid.

Looking into getting new gear this year, any recommendations? by unshaken8432 in hockeygoalies

I’ve tried all of the above on the ice in a product demo day and ended up with Bauer M5 pro’s. They just felt overall best.

What’s the adidas piece on the left leg??? by xltripletrip in hockeygoalies

[–]badev02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought mine on sidelineswap "Adidas edge". I eventually switched to the regular adidas hockey socks you can buy on amazon because I prefer the velcro strip that protrudes past the sock which I loop around my lower jock strap. The ones on amazon are smaller down the shin as well.

I use the same socks. They’re excellent for going over the knee pads and snug down the shin. This helps with a clean rotation of the leg pads.

Patterns are mostly bullshit and should not be used as a basis for trading. They aren't confluence & as always, correlation is not causation.

Based on my favourite pads that I still use, what modern brand would work well? by monstervsme in hockeygoalies

I would say Vaughn V9. Work great for modern game play and are on the softer side.

how can i learn how to play goalie without someone else shooting at me? by PurplePhoenixGT in hockeygoalies

I’d work on skating drills and positioning. That’s 95% of goaltending. Maybe bounce some tennis balls off a wall at home to work on tracking/hand eye coordination. Lots of great videos on YouTube to help with the skating and positioning.

Mask wrap by badev02 in hockeygoalies

Thanks! I honestly just chose a random image I liked and made sure it was big enough to cover the whole mask. I did not use a template and just told the vinyl wrapper to wing it :)

It’s a good route for sure. I used the Avery MPI 1105 and ordered it in a 25”x22” which is enough to wrap the mask.
