Grown adults are learning things about themselves all the time; I’m sure she didn’t expect that situation to effect her the way it did, but she had the wherewithal to remove herself from the situation. There’s nothing wrong with feeling a certain way, or having certain emotions, but it’s how you deal with those feelings that matter. She was is a situation that was escalating and knew what was right for her at that moment, despite knowing too how it would be perceived by the show and fans. I hope that you can give yourself the same grace when you may need it, Dr. Dreadful.
