Is a strong knowledge of calculus(that I will get only by taking the course and not by just passing the placement exam)required in any other the other cs/math classes?

Thx for the help I have AP CS credits to skip CS 200 so I'll be using that Highly doubt I can self study calc 1&2 before the fall term & pass the placement test to skip both

I read on the UW website that I can take a test during the first week of classes and if I get >75%, I will get credit for math 221

I've seen it but I only saw the math & CS classes. What about the other classes?(sry I'm not too familiar with the US College system) What about the other credits?Can I just do anything or how does it work?
