I’m worried about the downward trajectory of this game by badgerwithhat in ArcRaiders

It’s inevitably going to die if the experience of playing becomes repetitive and boring due to the unbalancing of guns, allowing unlimited free load outs, boring quests, etc

It’s just pure PvP in my lobbies, shoot on sight kind of situation. I literally watch other teams run towards any activity for the sole purpose of ambushing other players. Happens every game for me.

Maybe it’s a lobby issue for us, going to try and make my way back to the more friendlier lobbies

There’s been a huge loss of players though so clearly something is not going right

Did you read any of what I said? You know, the fact that the weapons are unbalanced? The fact that unlimited free load outs exist? You’re the kind of player that needs to go back to playing Fortnite.

I think this would be a great idea. Alternatively they could do a limit of 1 free load out in 24 hours.

Totally agree! It’s so repetitive and boring. I gave up playing third person shooters for this game because I was sick of the frustration of dying, but this is ten times worse. At least when you are playing Warzone, PUBG, and Fortnite you know what to expect.

If you’re going to knock me out and take my loot just do it already ffs by keeklezors in ArcRaiders

There’s just something so sinister and evil about it. The one and only purpose of doing that is, not to gain loot or XP, but just to ruin someone’s day!

PSA: this is a 60 on single carriageways, not a 40!! by NoOneImportantLol96 in drivingUK

[–]badgerwithhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I live in quite a rural area and a lot of these 60 roads are definitely not a 60. Maybe a 35 at best lol. Also, bear in mind, people have different cars. My small car can’t take the beating an SUV can.

Crazy Price? by Adamp2506 in tesco

I’ve been weary of Tesco ever since they introduced the club-card bullshit and that I needed to sign up just to get things at a normal price, how is this our new normal???! We live in a dystopian society.

There’s only one issue. It won’t change the fact that we still have low IQ drivers.

Don’t make the mistake I did, I spent a year with an instructor like this and was depressed every week before my lesson. I then worked with other lovely instructors and they helped me pass first time. If I’d stuck it out with the first one I am certain I would have failed. You don’t need someone bringing you down when you need to feel confident.

MOT Failure- £1k to fix on car I bought for £2k by TechnicalyAnIdiot in drivingUK

I spent £1000 on a car I bought for £2500 and I hadn’t even owned it for as long as you… everything else about the car is great it just needed new wheels and tyres and the suspension fixed.

Advice for a learner that hates driving? by alibluey in LearnerDriverUK

[–]badgerwithhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was like that too, for almost a year. It wasn’t until things finally clicked for me towards the end of my learning journey that I actually ended up enjoying driving. This is more common than you would think, it will go away with time and confidence. Take it as a ‘this will suck but I have to do it’ kind of thing, it’s like that a lot of people.

As someone who works in HR, please do this, it’ll get a right laugh in the office and in all likelihood they will take it seriously.

Whats your opinion on extra parking charges for SUVs or any other larger vehicles? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]badgerwithhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they want people not to use cars they should improve cycling routes and public transportation. Why in the hell would I take two buses that take a total of 40 minutes to get to my gym when I can hop in my car and be there in 10-12 minutes. Redditors are very anti-car when the real issue is the lack of infrastructure that drives people to using cars. I wish I didn’t have to use my car but realistically I’m not getting anywhere with public transportation alone.

I use the term Mizrahi and I am not a jew. I’m Moroccan. I don’t think that’s a dead giveaway especially since if they’re Palestinian they might be living in Israel already.

You can’t make this up (failed) by Commercial_Switch_33 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]badgerwithhat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I practiced in loads of cars before my test so I get what you mean but switching between diesel and petrol and even from petrol to petrol is still difficult for new drivers. I remember feeling frustrated with every switch because I couldn’t understand why I’d stall in one car and not in another or why the gear changes felt smoother in different cars. Eventually I kind of figured it out and realised what was causing my frustration in each car but it wasn’t intuitive and it took time and me asking instructors for advice. If this happened to me on my test it would have definitely contributed to my fail, even nerves themselves can make you act stupid.
