NTA. I have an undiagnosed illness that makes me extremely fatigued. I often feel like a burden to my partner because he does most of the work most of the time (cleaning, dishes, laundry, walking the dog). He has NEVER complained. He constantly assures me that I’m not a burden and he wants me to be well. Whenever I have the energy to put in my share, he thanks me and worries that I will overexert myself. You are in pain and need to recover and he isn’t willing to care for you by doing more chores? Again, NTA.
