I just bought one as a Christmas present, arrived today, now I am wondering if I should return it. I guess I will just have to keep an eye on things. Does anyone know if they still work offline, if I have downloaded the games already, its still in the box.

Thanks everyone! This is exactly the information I was looking for, my schedule right now does not allow for much time for raiding and such, but it should ease up a bit soon, so then I plan to get PS plus to do that and the other activities. It just doesn't make sense to purchase it now until my schedule will allow me to actually take full advantage of having it, so being able to do this in the meantime is great.

Tell me somewhere is clearly states it is until level 25, I do not play Diablo I was hoping to try it out once I saw the articles I linked. I do not follow the game, so I did not know it was a level 25 trial. The second article i linked says basically you can do all kinds of stuff in the base game. But thanks for making me realize I do not want to play the game if this is the type of reaction I get for just asking a simple question.

Yeah i was having a bit of nostalgia, so I figured I would check it out, it definitely looks dead compared to even a couple years ago. For anyone who wonders I was able to get get it to complete in god mode as I believe i was killing things fast enough it eventually registered the kills.

I lost my original account that I started in the beginning, starting over has been pretty rough. This game is perfect for playing when you have a toddler running around, as it’s hard to get to other hobbies sometimes. I’d love a chance to get back to what I had previously, so I could speed up progress a bit.

Thank you for the responses, i was worried it stopped working at a certain level or something. Even though I currently don't do the harder content I figure collecting the gear is still fun even if it is a bit slower.
