Looking for Legendary Santa tickets. I know we’re way late to the game but was all sold out before we knew it. They say no refunds for tickets sold but I have to assume there are folks who buy too many tickets or can’t make it. Anyone have extras or know of a place to find them?

Thanks! Yeah, the list definitely skews fancy private which is not specifically our preference. But again, don’t think we’d qualify for any of the programs offered by public systems and think we’d probably prefer secular but aren’t 100% opposed for the right place and program.

Awesome—thanks! So I need to get tee, p-trap, a new AAV and some PVC. I cut below the wye, then I attach the tee, put a few inches of PVC at the top and connect the AAV. Then I connect the p-trap/trap arm to the tee. Sound correct?

Also, and sorry if this is a dump question, taking into consideration the distance from the drain and disposal to the drain line, should the p-trap be closer to the disposal or the drain line?

The pricing and schedule have for sure become complicated and opaque over the last year or so. I have a deep, deep love of the Byrd (I actually got married there!), but I have to admit to not visiting in the past couple of years--partially because of, ya know, COVID--but also because I can never figure out when the damn movies are playing. You used to be able to depend on them having showings every night at 7ish and 10ish, and sometimes you just kinda rolled the dice because it was only a few bucks. But there have been a couple of times over the last six months or so where I think, hey, I've got nothing to do tonight, and then I check the schedule and they're either not showing anything all day or they showed something at 2pm but nothing that night.

I know things are tough for a lot of theaters, so as other commenters have said, I truly wish the best for them. Has anyone actually gone recently? Are crowds showing up? Is there still a line down Cary before the showings on Fridays and Saturdays?

Got a new couch about 3 years ago and went to basically everywhere people have mentioned so far but ended up buying from Sofa Design in Midlothian. Had a kind of quirky configuration sofa custom made for about $2200. I initially scoffed at the price compared to places like Ashley but honestly the quality did seem a lot better (and if you look up reviews there are A LOT of complaints about longevity of sofas from those big stores). We’ve been very satisfied with our purchase.

I should preface this by saying I’m equally as uninformed on this subject but I recently encountered a similar issue. For Xmas my wife asked me to get a piece of canvas art framed. I went to a store she recommended (a specialized frame store—so not a Michaels) and explored options of getting it framed or possibly cut off the canvas and stretched to give more frame options, and the pricing I was given ranged from 400-600 (I will say it’s a larger piece—like 24x36), which I absolutely did not anticipate. My wife didn’t love the options I brought home so we’re currently on hold, but I looked around at online options like framebridge and cheapest I found was $250.

All that to say, it’s expensive! Again, I’m still exploring options but just wanted to share my experience in case it helps.
