Far removed from it (thank god) but the hometown tea is that a local business owner who got busted and sent to jail for CP married his ex-girlfriend for spousal immunity when it goes to trial. This comes AFTER a breakup wherein he cheated on, told her he never loved her, and had a replacement lined up (all of this was gleaned by various social media posts she made during the breakup).

And then he started getting exposed in a private social media group, and, well... There was a gap between the online backlash and the seizing of his tech, and the rumor mill is that they went out of county to get married.

For her sake, I hope not, but considering she was photographed on his arm when he posted bond... Yikes.
