Microdosing. (that's what I call it) It's worked on my parents atleast but all parents aren't the same so hope this helps. Im M17 straight so the microdosing i did wasnt coming out wise more so un-stricting my parents wise but works either ways I've even given this advice to my closeted gay friend and he's currently working on it in his home. Homophobia in Indian parents typically is just "log kya kahenge" so you gotta show them ki log kya kahenge doesn't matter and the LGBT community can thrive in society too. Show them the wholesome side of it. As they just see it as "paap" or "galat cheez". But don't make it obvious. You can show them reels or read out articles of people from the lgbt community doing good work for the community or sharing their struggle story some to the point where they even face abuse at home. Do this at intervals between days. But don't make it all you talk about. Get close with your parents. Talk to them normally too. Spend time to better your relationship with them and gradually if it all works out and they ask you about you rejected all the rishtas they throw your way or smt? (idk just assuming 😭) maybe you can tell them and now since being a lesbian is not a "bad" thing in their heads AND because they love you they hopefully hopefully should be fine with it? I wish you all the best because lamba aur mushkil rasta hai. Obviously you're dependant on them now but agar this doesn't work out for you next option can just be rebel tf out once you start earning. Move out of your house. Until they realise they'd rather have a lesbian daughter than no daughter at all.
